Q. Is this an official project/service?
Rivianscope is not affiliated nor sponsored by the company, Rivian Automotive.
It is first and foremost a passion project and solely developed and managed by Tyler Corsair.
Q. How does Rivianscope keep my vehicles and data safe?
We provide access to Two-Factor Authentication for all accounts, and utilize industry tools for pentesting and scanning for potential vulnerabilities.
Rivianscope is built on the same framework as Teslascope, which has safely and securely processed and stored data for over 30,000 vehicles.
Q. Will this impact my vehicle's ability to sleep or result in any battery drain?
Our goal is to ensure that our service doesn't contribute to any battery drain; we'll be working together with Rivian vehicle owners and engineers to provide a perfect sleep process.
Q. Will this require a paid subscription?
Rivianscope will always be accessible by everyone, for free. Features that require a premium membership are just to cover associated costs (i.e, database storage, bandwidth), and will be very reasonable.
Q. Will this support multiple vehicles?
Absolutely! Whether you have one vehicle, or ten, they will all be natively supported as long as they're on the same Rivian Account.
